I used them for my trail race. The run went well – I like how it takes the tension off from laces. Before I had them, I’d loosely tie the laces to avoid lace tension. But now I don’t mind tightening my laces to avoid that lace pressure on my foot.

I used this product for the 1st time tonight and they were great. I have a pair of 11yr old Bauer Total One’s and they made them feel new. The added support through the mid foot was really nice. They didn’t come undone or loose tension during that game. Only drawback is they don’t come with a carrying case. You either have to save the packaging or take your chances throwing them in your bag. I’m sure I’m going to lose a few and will need to buy more. Great product and idea. Been looking for something like this for many years.

I tried Panther Teeth across several different pairs of running shoes (including Nike’s Alphafly), and a couple pair of casual shoes to boot. Many different laces and lacing styles, but the same result: a secure lockdown. I wouldn’t hesitate to try Panther Teeth for my next long run or race (and in fact, I probably will!). From a runner’s perspective, I think these are a no-brainer.

I am running with the panther teeth device since 2 month. And I can say it’s a real comfort for my forefoot. Thanks

Panther teeth worked perfectly for my 09 sons skates. He said it was the best his skates have felt. Locked down his ankles and kept the boot tighter around his leg. Very easy to use and easy to take on and off the skate. Highly recommended, especially for the younger skaters, to help get the tighter fit.

I tried Panther Teeth for the first time last night. They worked great at keeping my laces tight for the whole game; I hate having to retighten my laces mid-game.

My only complaint is that they are hard to close. Eventually I got each of them locked, but it took a good amount of effort. I think it’s a combination of design, lace type, (I use fatter laces from Howie’s Hockey Tape) and my finger strength. The owner of Panther Teeth reached out and recommended narrower USA hockey or Elite Hockey laces.

Overall, I would recommend Panther Teeth for anyone looking to maintain the right lace tension while skating, especially during a hockey game.

Put these on my ice skate to keep them tight after breaking my ankle! Keeps the laces tight. They work great. Easy to use Keeps my laces from loosening. Highly recommend use with ice hockey

Used these for my skates for the dreaded lace bite. Great concept and they do work. However, having the locking part as plastic doesn’t spell longevity. In the 1st 2 weeks, one snapped at the receiving locking point. But zoning the laces does hold promise! Follow up ; 2/15/2022. After the panther owner followed up on the defective ones and replaced them(great customer service), I have been using these regularly. They definitely work in preventing the tongue cutting into that tendon. I use 2 per skate to leave slack in the middle laces. That gives the tongue room to flex away from the skin. They do have wear and tear but I think a pack or two per year will work. I’ll take that cost over the pain any day. Thanks again…tossing my gel pads, foam pads, plastic lace bite guards…etc.

The Panther Teeth are proficient in keeping my laces tight through the remainder of my practice, and especially for games. Definitely recommend for younger kid’s parents to help them keep their kid’s skates tight.

I used them on my hockey skates work well they stay the whole practice and even games. Doesn’t rune your laces I recommend!

These products helped pain I have in the sides of my feet when skating. My feet tend to hurt in skates no matter how many times I have them baked, and they allow me to tighten the bottom of the boot without over tightening the top, so it doesn’t squeeze my feet so much.

As an avid trail runner, I struggle with my laces loosening during my runs. I saw a Panther Teeth ad on Facebook so thought I’d check them out, especially given the reasonable price. I was pleasantly surprised that there was a noticeable difference on my first run. After a couple of runs, I have found the “sweet spot” for placement of the devices and not only do my laces stay snug, but my feet are more comfortable during the runs in general. Love my Panther Teeth!

Great product for hockey skates especially for someone who uses the Hyperlite with a lot of forward flex that is always loosening the laces. Very good overall experience and I highly recommend.

A great replacement for the Reebok/CCM lace lock. A simple device that helps combat lace bite by allow different zones of tightness on your laces.

Really like the product since I was able to try and keep lacing patterns for issues, and not have to constantly redo lacing patterns. There is enough in a package for me to use with two pairs of running shoes.

Panther Teeth works great on hockey skates. Highly recommended product!

A great product that prevents me having to re-tie my laces in the middle of the game. My foot feels secure the whole time helping me to feel agile the entire game.

Got on the ice a couple times this week and can say I was very satisfied with the product! I’m sure you were hoping for a broader answer but honestly I can’t think of anything I disliked! The product worked as described and very much eliminated the issue I had been having with my left skate feeling lose compared to my right. They also hold firmly without any issue throughout a full game/skate. It’s a solid 10/10 from me, no complaints!

I don’t have any complaints with them at all. I actually used them more for my lifting instead of on the field. As a pitcher I didn’t really feel the need for them to be on my cleats but in the weight room and where there is constant movement and change of direction they were very much useful!

The panther laces have been great for my girls.It helps keep the laces tight for my oldest daughter. My youngest has trouble unsnapping them but if they weren’t tight they wouldn’t work. They did not work as well on the goalie skates maybe because there is more plastic than the an average skate… not sure 

They worked very well. Very easy to install and held well for the first use. Had to play a game and wasn’t able to test them out first like the instructions said. Was a little too tight at first but had no problem readjusting on the bench

I’ve been trying to figure out a way to keep my laces tight on my ice hockey skates for a while now. After lots of research, I finally found your product. I really like it.

I wanted to let you know that I really love your product! I have used Panther Teeth on my hiking books and they held the laces tight for the duration of my 12-mile hike!

Panther Teeth provided a tighter hold on my midfoot and kept my laces tight throughout my run.

I received the skate laces and WOW!!! There is a noticable difference. I also tried them out using my work out shoes at the gym. All I will say about your product is ‘AWESOME’. Wish there was something like this years ago.

In my son’s words he said the roller blade with the Panther Teeth felt more snug and felt like a sneaker, where his other foot felt like it could move around in there.

I think they’re great for coaches who don’t tie their skates as tight as players but also don’t want them super loose. I actually liked it off center a little bit. Very comfortable.

They are an amazing product. I didn’t get to use them much, but I used them at my NAHL prospect showcase and they held up amazing and kept my skate tight.

They help alleviate foot pain by allowing me to keep the laces loose at the bottom, tighter around the ankle. Lace bight is also not a problem anymore thanks to the same flexibility in being able to adjust tightness in different places. It’s noticeable when I don’t have time to put the panther teeth on and end up skating without them. I’m back to the same issues for that skate. Thank you Brad, great stuff.
